Digital Landscapes
Inver/SE is experienced at producing interactive, online virtual tours and site visits. We use the highly-rated Seekbeak toolkit to develop engaging and immersive ‘digital landscapes’ constructed from linked 360o photospheres like those used in Google Streetview.
Tours can be as simple or complex as required. They can contain ambient sounds (e.g. birdsong) recorded on-site, music, and audio descriptions recorded by site staff or generated using quality text-to-voice software from scripts. Site-specific information can be embedded in each photosphere, or accessed via pop-up screens which can host and link to material already available online.
Please contact Jon to discuss what we can do for your site.
Sheffield Lakeland Landscape Partnership: Digital Landscape Project. May-Sept 2022
Inver/SE was commissioned by Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust and the National Lottery Heritage Fund SLLP to produce an extensive Digital Landscape which enables users to explore and engage with 21 projects across the Upper Don catchment (145 km2).

Sheffield Lakeland Landscape Partnership: Landscape Intelligence Briefing, Canyards Hills. December 2022
Inver/SE was commissioned to produce a non-technical interpretation of the Canyards Hills SSSI. We proposed combining a PDF guidebook (the original brief) with a digital landscape, using ambient sounds and scripted voiceovers to simulate a guided tour of the site on a stunning afternoon in late Autumn. Both written and digital media are supported by accessible text and online translation services to enable the information to be made as widely available as possible.
